This is the list of existing Lancaster County water-powered mills listed alphabetically by common name. Many mills were named for their owners, which meant the name of the mill changed when the owner changed. It also means that several mills may have had the same name if their owners had the same last name. Other mills were named for the post office that resided in the mill. I generally try to use the most popular name or the name most people who live nearby would call it today.
