Conestoga River
The Conestoga River is one of the principal watersheds in Lancaster County. In 2021, I wrote a book called “The Conestoga River: A History”. That book highlights the rich history that happened along the banks of the river. In the center of the book is a section of color photographs that I took along the Conestoga. This gallery contains those photographs.
Start of the Conestoga
The West Branch (right) joins the East Branch (lower left) to form the beginning of the Conestoga River in Caernarvon Township, Berks County.
