History, river legends, and a little friendly competition are coming to Historic Rock Ford!

Join Adam Zurn and Benton Webber on Sunday, October 18, for a free afternoon of History, Lore & Trivia inside the Rock Ford Barn.

From 2 to 3 p.m., Adam Zurn will present “Legendary Tales from the Mighty Susquehanna,” exploring the hidden geography, mysterious history, and enduring folklore of one of the world’s oldest rivers. Expect stories of the Susquehanna mermaid, the elusive albatwitch, and other legends connected to the river and the communities along its banks.

Then, from 3 to 4 p.m., Benton Webber will host his “Revolutionary Lancaster Quiz Bowl.” Guests will compete in teams of four, so bring some knowledgeable friends or join a table and make a few new ones!
