The Union Mill is a 2.5 story stone and frame mill located in Mount Joy Township. The water source was the Little Chickies Creek. Today, the mill is a part of a produce farm called Union Mill Acres.
The first mill on this site may have been built in 1770 by Abraham Herr. Samuel Eby built the current mill in 1808. In 1815 Samuel Eby owned a stone merchant mill of 2 stories and 40 by 35 feet. C. J. Heistand purchased the property in 1861. In 1899 it was owned by Daniel M. Heistand. Abraham G. Stauffer became the owner in 1907. The mill is in good condition today and is used as a garage and for storage. The current owners are Keith and Melanie Martin.
The mill is located at 7557 Elizabethtown Road, Elizabethtown, PA.
